Christin Abbott Director of Children’s Ministries
After an undergraduate degree in Music Education from Baylor University, and a successful career teaching choral music in Texas public schools, God began working and moving Christin to Salt Lake City and into Children’s Ministry. She now has a Certificate of Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Christin seeks to provide a place at First Pres where children know they are loved, both by Jesus Christ and their church family, all the while reaching out to the community and sharing God’s love throughout the city.
In her free time, Christin enjoys reading, mostly juvenile fiction. She sings with the Salt Lake Vocal Artists and also enjoys a good hike and time spent with friends.
